Report of
the Competition |
Among the
all member from Canada, France,
Germany, Hungary, India, Iran,
Iraq, Italy, The Netherlands, Turkey and USA 71 members (less than
a half) have taken part in the
Competition.
Most of the works were sent from Iran, as we have requested printed
photos. We have just some limited works from Hungary, Iraq and USA.
More than 97% of the works were sent at the last days; surely, most of
the photos were chosen in hurry. I've seen many better works of our
members, whose works were omitted. This is the reason, why 28 members'
works were canceled.
A great number of the members have sent the photos, which they like;
photos, which were taken in a good conditions; photos, which they had a
good memory of that moment... really, photos, which they had a good
relation with that, not a good photo from the view of good subject and
good technique, not a good photograph!
More than %30 of the packages were incomplete, and it takes a lot of
time to complete them. Even it was announced, but I took time to
complete the files and all the participants works took part in the
competition.
The jury Akbar Alami
, Houman
Sadr, Hassan
SarBakhshian
have
judged the works on August 9, 2007 with patient and lots of
time. CPC &
CAPA thank the jury that have attended the judgment with their
busy time. The report of the competetion was announced on we on
August 10. This was announced to all the members by email on August 10
too.
We were going to have an exhibition of these works as last year, but our
sponsor "AksBaran" denied his cooperation. Trying to find
another sponsor! We're going to exhibit these works in Tehran and
Vancouver if we have a new sponsor. Your try is appreciated too.
